Liven Up Your Summer Ice Cubes – 5 Flavorful Ways!
Instead of debating on what kind of drinks you’ll be serving at your next dinner party this summer, try thinking about what kind of fancy ice cubes you want to make. You’ll feel refreshed just looking at these and your guests will LOVE them!

 

1.  Pure Fruit Ice Cubes:
Crush up a fruit of your choice (cherries, watermelon, kiwi, etc.), mix with lemonade, and freeze.

2.  Vanilla Bean Ice Cubes:
Ingredients: 2 cups of almond milk, 1/3 cup of granulated sugar, 1 vanilla bean, 1 teaspoon of vanilla.

3.  Add Herbs or Fruit to your Ice Cubes:
Some ideas: blueberries, strawberries, lemon slices, fennel, and mint.

4.  Chocolate Ice Cubes in Milk/Coffee:
Ingredients: 200ml milk, 50ml water,1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 tablespoon instant coffee (optional), 70g dark chocolate (66%)
Directions: Finely chop chocolate and place in a heatproof bowl. Pour milk and water in a saucepan, add sugar, cocoa and instant coffee and mix carefully to avoid lumps. Bring to a boil over medium heat then remove from heat.Pour mixture over the chocolate, melt 5 minutes then mix gently with a wooden spoon to get a cream smooth and creamy. Cool and pour into an ice cube tray and freeze.

5.  Edible Wildflower Ice Cubes:
Freeze edible flowers in your ice cubes. Beautiful!
